The Hershey Foundation is dedicated to providing children from all socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds in Northeast Ohio with special opportunities for personal growth and development. Priority is given to creative educational programs for children; arts, cultural, and science programs for children; and early childhood education programs. The foundation provides funding for special projects, equipment that directly impacts children, capital campaigns, and endowment campaigns.
Recent grants have been awarded to schools for capital campaigns or playground programs, Montessori schools for strategic development and program support, and educational organizations for teaching equipment.
Nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations are eligible to apply. Interested applicants must first submit a Letter of Inquiry online; selected applicants are then invited to submit a full proposal.
