Chesapeake Energy Corporation welcomes applications for corporate support from its operating areas in Louisiana, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Wyoming. Chesapeake supports charitable organizations and programs that focus on community development; science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education; emergency and disaster response; and the environment.
Chesapeake has an educational initiative involving its employees through a longstanding mentoring program, which is one of the largest programs in the state. Each week during the school year, more than 250 employees visit with elementary, middle, and high school students during their workday.
Eligible applicants are 501(c)(3) organizations or accredited educational institutions that are located in one of the six operating areas. Applications are reviewed three times per year, with decisions communicated one month after the deadline. All applications must be submitted online.
