The New York Life Foundation is providing Grief Reach Community Expansion Grants to organizations. Grants are designed to extend grief support services to underserved populations. Proposed projects must clearly define the target population, local partners, and strategy for expansion.
To be eligible for support, 50 percent of the children served must either be (1) economically disadvantaged children and teens, aged 18 and younger and with an annual family income below 200 percent of the official poverty line, or eligible for other public assistance such as reduced lunch or food stamps; or (2) from underserved racial and ethnic communities.
Organizations operating in the United States as a tax-exempt organization for at least three consecutive years are eligible to apply. The amount requested must not be greater than 10 percent of the organization’s most recent fiscal year actuals. Applications must be submitted online.
Eligibility: Homeschool, 501 (c)(3) organizations
Award: Awards range from $15,000 to $100,000.
Deadline: Applications are accepted June 28 through July 26.
