The National Cristina Foundation focuses on service-providing organizations targeting people with disabilities, students at risk, and economically disadvantaged populations. The goal is to support the delivery of essential educational and training programs through provision of suitable technology resources.
The foundation works to promote technology reuse by educating businesses and the public that technology resources coming out of their first place of use can be given a second productive life for developing human potential. The foundation’s online nonprofit locator enables donors of used computers and other electronic hardware to select a local charity or school in their area of the country they choose to receive their donation of equipment.
Donated equipment can only be used for training, job development, educational programs, and other related projects that focus directly on improving the lives of people with disabilities, students at risk, and economically disadvantaged populations. The foundation does not assist individuals directly. Applications must be submitted online.
