The Ohio Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP), under the Ohio Development Services Agency, partners with area high schools and career/technical schools to identify students with an interest in manufacturing, as well as a desire to gain real-world experience. The Ohio MEP High School Internship Program assists manufacturers with their workforce needs, while also teaching students valuable career skills. Last year, 80 percent of interns in the program were employed at the end of their internship.
Eligibility: High School students
Award: Ohio MEP will reimburse 50 percent of student wages, up to a maximum of $1,500 per student.
