AstraZeneca awards Health and Science Innovation Challenge Grants to support programs that build science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) skills and knowledge in kindergarten through grade 12 or undergraduate college students, as well as programs that present a new approach, tool, or technology to solve a health challenge. Funded programs should address an unmet need, describe the intended impact on the target population, and have measurable outcomes and a defined form of assessment.
Previous recipients of STEM program grants provide activities for students, including preschool age, and teacher professional development. Eligible applicants are 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations in communities around the United States. The application form is available on the website and requires an account to access. The form must be submitted online during the annual application period only.
Eligibility: Other (including homeschool, 501 (c)(3) organizations)
Award: Grants up to $15,000 are awarded.
Deadline: Applications are accepted April 1 through April 30, 2020.
