The American Rescue Plan Homeless Targeted Support Grant is for schools, districts, Head Start programs and joint vocational school districts to increase the support offered to students and their families that are experiencing homelessness. These funds can be used for creative solutions that will meet the needs of struggling students.


Community and traditional public school districts that have the full-time equivalent of less than 10 identified students experiencing homelessness in the 2020-2021 school year that was reported in EMIS

Joint vocational school districts

Head Start programs in Ohio that have received the Early Childhood Education Grant from the Department and have access to the Comprehensive Continuous Improvement Plan (CCIP)
