Description

The non-profit, It Gets Better, has recently opened its grant program that will award $10,000 grants to 50 schools in the United States, thanks to funding from American Eagle Outfitters customer donations. They are looking to fund projects that uplift, empower, and connect LGBTQ+ youth in schools. Some examples may include; a mural highlighting all identities within the LGBTQ+ community, improving your library’s range of literature from LGBTQ+ authors, or supporting your GSA fund.

Eligibility

Prioritized school applications should have a diverse student population, have a federally recognized Title I status, offer a supportive environment for LGBTQ+ students through resources, policies, curriculum, and more.
