Designing High Quality Remote Learning

EnvisionEdPlus is excited to announce a new virtual training geared to promote highly effective remote learning. We’ve collaborated with “Rock Star Remote Learning Teachers” to deliver this interactive, engaging, and FUN training that will help teachers think about themselves as instructional designers.

Course Highlights

*Come prepared with an idea for a new remote learning lesson or – better yet – bring an existing lesson plan/unit that you have presented in-person but would like to shift to use in a virtual environment.
*Learn best practices for remote learning and discover new ideas and strategies while collaborating with colleagues.
*Design (or redesign) your lesson and use a ‘tuning protocol’ to further improve your lesson. *By the end of the 6 hour virtual learning experience, you will have a new lesson ready for fall that has been vetted by experts and shared with other teachers.
**Bonus: You will also have ideas for ways to design high quality remote learning!

Course Logistics

EnvisionEdPlus is hosting two cohorts this summer. Each cohort has 1 live virtual session (mandatory) and three virtual tasks that can be done anytime during the week long course. The entire course will take about 6 hours when combining the 3 hour live virtual and 3 hours completing virtual tasks.

All participants are required to actively participate in a 3-hour Zoom meeting on Day 1 of their selected course session. Then, at your own pace, you will complete three virtual tasks. All online tasks must be compete by the last day of the course using EnvisionEdPlus’ simple-to-use PDPlus virtual learning platform. Upcoming sessions are available:

July 29-August 4, 2020 (with a required Zoom meeting on July 29 from 9 am-noon).

August 3 – 10 (with a required Zoom meeting on August 3 from 9:00 am – noon). Capacity in this course session is limited.

Course Fees

Individual teachers, groups of teachers, schools, or districts can participate in this training. Register quickly – space will be limited to 12 people per cohort.
