This digital learning experience is brought to you by EnvisionEdPlus and will be facilitated by Lorraine Gaughenbaugh, an EnvisionEdPlus STEAM specialist. This 8-hour, self-paced course for K-6 teachers and intervention specialists, will foster your understanding of problem-based learning and support you in applying this knowledge to your own classroom. You will have the opportunity to implement a mini-lesson and receive feedback. This course includes ‘office hours’ to encourage collaboration.

Lorraine Gaughenbaugh has designed and implemented innovative programs to serve students in an elementary STEM school. She provides leadership in STEAM education that incorporates problem-based learning, design thinking, and 21st century skills. She is also a teacher-leader with Stand Up for Shakespeare – America, a partnership with Ohio State University and The Royal Shakespeare Company. Lorraine is a guest lecturer at OSU and prepares undergraduates in the use of dramatic inquiry in the classroom. Lorraine has recently retired from teaching after 32 years.
