Description

This grant aims to increase enrollment in the Ohio Board of Nursing-approved certification programs, make these programs more accessible, help strengthen partnerships with potential employers, and enhance the curriculum of the certification training programs.

This funding can be used for:

  • Scholarships/stipends to reduce program costs for students.
  • Hiring new staff to expand the program.
  • Covering the costs for background checks, OBN registration fees, and CPR certification.
  • Providing stipends to employers.

Each OBN-approved program can receive up to $69,500.

Eligibility

You must be affiliated with or run an Ohio Board of Nursing-approved Community Health Worker certification program.
