Description

This grant aims to increase enrollment in the Ohio Board of Nursing-approved certification programs, make these programs more accessible, help strengthen partnerships with potential employers, and enhance the curriculum of the certification training programs.

This funding can be used for:

Scholarships/stipends to reduce program costs for students.
Hiring new staff to expand the program.
Covering the costs for background checks, OBN registration fees, and CPR certification.
Providing stipends to employers.

Each OBN-approved program can receive up to $69,500.

Eligibility

You must be affiliated with or run an Ohio Board of Nursing-approved Community Health Worker certification program.
