Solving the Teacher Shortage Starts in Your Own Hallways

The data is clear: the best place to find future teachers is in our current high school classrooms. However, many districts feel they lack the “lift” required to build a formal education pathway from scratch. At the same time, most high schools already allow students to volunteer or intern in elementary classrooms or after-school programs.

On February 24, 2026 (9 am – 12 pm), EnvisionEdPlus is hosting the Pathways Fast Track: Edu. This isn’t a theoretical seminar on why pathways are important; it’s a three-hour “sprint” where school teams (up to 3 people) use our “Plug-and-Play” model to build a turnkey program that includes:

  • Curriculum: using College Credit Plus and/or EnvisionEdPlus PDPlus(R) courses.
  • Work-based learning: In your district or your community.
  • Industry-Recognized Credentials: State of Ohio Recognized Pre-Apprenticeship

By the end of the morning, your team will have mapped out your curriculum approach, identified local work-based learning sites, created a 90-day launch calendar, and finalized your pre-apprenticeship operating plan.

Since 2018, EnvisionEdPlus has empowered over 300 schools to design and launch high-impact industry credential programs, college pathways, and pre-apprenticeships. Our robust approach delivers transformative results, with partner schools experiencing an average 664% increase in the number of credentials earned, compared to the state-wide increase of 419%. Reflecting our commitment to helping schools navigate complex requirements to create sustainable, high-benefit career pipelines for every student.
