Offer Your Students Summer Technology Learning Experiences!

Summer learning programs shouldn’t be a luxury or just an afterthought. Studies show summer learning has a
positive impact on both academic and social-emotional development in students. TECH CORPS offers 3rd – 12th grade students the opportunity to explore technology topics like 3D printing, app development, coding,
robotics and more! By providing structure to students’ summer experiences, they are more likely to stay engaged and focused.

For over 25 years, TECH CORPS has worked to ensure K-12 students have equal access to technology education experiences, skills and resources that enhance early learning and prepare them for college, credential, or career. TECH CORPS’ National Executive Director Lisa M. Chambers shared,

“In communities where access and exposure to technology education and careers are limited, we are forging collaborative partnerships to help bring these skills and experiences to students.”

TECH CORPS programs reflect the diverse world in which we live and give students a safe space to grow and
thrive. Our signature technology programs deploy tech-savvy talent to assist K-12 schools and youth-serving
organizations in Ohio and beyond.

Thanks to our supporters, TECH CORPS programs are available at NO COST to students.

This summer, TECH CORPS will offer its signature technology programs to students in Central and Northeast Ohio.

Techie Camp® is a full day, week-long program designed to engage elementary and middle school students in hands-on, interactive STEM-related activities. Students take a deep dive into subject matter focused on 3D printing, app development, digital animation, programming or robotics and emerge with skills that are useful in today’s classroom and tomorrow’s workplace.

Our summer learn and earn programs for high school students allow them to continue learning
without the pressure of finding a part-time summer job. Students participate in 120+ hours of programming and earn an hourly wage.

IT On Ramp+ is designed to elevate students’ mathematical understanding and confidence in algebra and geometry through hands-on lessons focused on various computing topics including app development, game design, data analytics, web development and cyber security.

Student WEB CORPS® provides high school students with a suite of web development, project management and professionalism skills. Students are challenged to apply those skills in the authentic task of building a website for a mock small business.

Student TECH CORPS® delivers tech support training including hardware, operating systems, software applications, networking, computer peripherals, troubleshooting, basic programming, databases and professionalism/customer relations. At the end of the program, students will take an industry-recognized certification exam.
