ALSC/Candlewick Press ‘Light the Way: Outreach to the Underserved’ Grants

Sponsored by Candlewick Press, administered by the Association for Library Service to Children, a division of the American Library Association. ‘Light the Way: Outreach to the Underserved’ Grants are intended are offered to libraries to conduct outreach programs to underserved populations through new programs or the expansion of existing programs.

Preference is given to programs serving children with learning or physical differences, ESL speakers, children from nontraditional school environments and family settings, children in the juvenile justice system, or those who need accommodation services. Eligible applicants are public and school libraries. Interested applicants must be ALA members. Applications must be submitted online; supporting statements must be submitted by email.
