Description

The National Art Education Foundation (NAEF) awards small SHIP Grants to art educators seeking art equipment or instructional curriculum resources to support student learning specifically related to the National Visual Arts Standards. Grants are awarded to selected art educators whose proposals seek art equipment to enable the art educator to improve the teaching of art and which are used to focus on student learning specifically related to the National Visual Arts Standards.

To apply for a grant, art educators must be members of the National Art Education Association (NAEA) for at least one year prior to the date of the application. Eligible applicants are typically teachers of students in kindergarten through grade 12 and undergraduate programs in higher education in public and private schools. NAEA members associated with nonprofit organizations are eligible to apply as individuals, but may not apply on behalf of their organization. Applications must be submitted online.
